Growing Blueberries With Insta-Gro
Any well drained acid soil rich in organic matter will support a healthy stand of blueberries. Blueberries prefer a Ph of 4.5 to 5 to produce. Organic matter, use manure or straw than apply 5 to 6 gals of Insta-Cal per acre. to turn manure or straw into organic matter, also add 3 gal Insta-Sul per acre with Cal using water as a carrier.
Note: Insta-Cal will not increase the Ph only the calcium level.
Foliar feed 3 to 4 gal of 9-18-9 per acre when buds begin to green up, follow with 3 to 4 gall 9-18-9 per acre after blossom. When fruit is sizing use 3 to 4 gal 9-18-9 per acre. Last spray should be 3 to 4 gal 3-8-18 per acre, for added color add Magnesium Sulfate at 1 pt. per acre.
Note: If having
problem getting Ph down to 4.5 to 5 adding sawdust or mulch will decrease
