Insta-Gro Manufacturing offers you a new product line to assist you in growing a better crop. The product's name is Insta-Sul which is a combination of nitogen, potash and sulphur, basic nutrition for all crops. Insta-Sul is a clear product containing 11% nitrogen, 2% potash, 25% sulpher. The product will store down to -5 below zero without water dilution.
The most important difference from commonly used ammonium sulphate is that there are two sulphur atoms in the molecule instead of one, and this second sulphur, which is fifty percent of the total sulphur, is not of the sulfate form. This second sulphur is very loosely held and is readily released under atmosheric and soil conditions. Under soil conditions both forms are strong acidifiers aiding released of phosphorus and minor elements such as zinc, maganses, iron and copper.
Sulphur is required by all living things. It is the element that is vital to the orgin of certain proteins, vitamin and enyzymes which are essential to life. Without sulphur, plant and animal life as we know it would cease to exist.
Sulphur is one of sixteen chemical elements necessary to the nutrition and growth of plants. Protein synthesis and other important organic processes are dependent upon the presence of these elements in varying amounts and combinations. Man and most higher animals cannot assimilate and use these elements directly and so much must depend upon the plant to combine, synthesize and from them produce highly complex organic materials necessary for basic life processes. Sulphur is essential to the effective development of these vital chemical complexes. Sulphur is most often taken up by the plant as the inorganic sulphate ion SO4 which then combined with nitrogen and other elements to form amino acid compounds. It is the combination of these various amino acids that the complex life sustaining protein molecules are created. It becomes evident, then that a deficiency of sulphur, regardless of the amount of the other elements, can not only diminish the nutrient content of the plants, but also retard their healthy growth, maturity and quality.
Sulphur also increase the solubility and availability of the other plant nutrients such as phosphorus, zinc, iron and manganese.
Sulphur is being removed by harvesting, grazing and leeching at a far greater rate than it is being replaced. We at Insta-Gro have recognized this fact ad are adding our Insta-sul to our programs.
